Rooms for honeymoon or romantic weekend

We are checking the availability and prices of Romantic/Honeymoon Suites for two nights beginning 12 July. Thank you for any information you can provide.

Hotel Amalia offers 3 categories of hotel rooms – Classic Green, Superior and Deluxe. For special events or a romantic weekend, we recommend our Deluxe Jr. Suite. To find prices and availability , it’s easy. Just enter your dates in our Reservation System and you will see our very latest rates up-to-date. The Reservation system will also show you special money-saving offers. Choose the type of room or size of room and proceed to confirm your reservation. And after you make your reservation, email Laura and she will assist you with all of your special requests for this special occasion.

Booking multiple rooms

Good day, we are 3 couples from Israel asking for availability for 3 double rooms with private bathrooms in each room for 2 nights. We would like to know about the price and parking.

Each of our rooms includes private en-suite bathrooms. Booking more than one room online can be daunting but we make it easy to do. Look for our Reservation box on each page of our website. Start with the first room. Select your dates and number of people in the room. Choose your first room from the categories, size of rooms and special offers shown. Once you’ve read the details, click on Book. You will be shown the reservation details including total cost of your first room. Now, click on “Add Another Room” and repeat the process. When you’ve added your 3 rooms, click on “Confirm booking”, insert your personal information and complete your reservation. That’s it! Remember if you are looking for our best rates and special offers, you will find them only through Hotel Amalia’s Reservation system. We guarantee our best rates and special offers - not available elsewhere. Parking near the hotel is available at an additional cost. Just add a note during the booking process and we will confirm the details with you by email.

Special Needs

I have booked a room for two people. This is for my mother and I so if you have a ‘twin’ room this would be great. Thank you.

No problem! When you confirm your booking in the Reservation system, you will be asked whether you want one or two beds or have no preference. By the way, all rooms include private bath, breakfast, taxes and services.

Booking for a family

We are visiting Rome in September and we are interested in obtaining your best rates for a double classic or superior room + extra bed. We are a family of 4 - 2 adults + 2 children (4+7yrs)

For children from zero to three years of age a crib will be provided free of charge for your baby. The regular room rate applies to children 4 years and older. If you are budget conscious, we recommend our spacious Classic Green Triple room which includes an additional bed. It has a private bathroom, full amenities including air conditioning, breakfast, taxes and services. To book the triple room, select 3 adults and 1 child in our Reservation system along with your dates. You will then have a chance to choose from the various categories of rooms and special offers and see all the details for these.

Booking Groups through our Reservation system

We are a group of 12 people. Can I book online with your booking engine?

Absolutely! Hotel Amalia’s best deals are available through our own Reservation system. To make sure you get the right rooms, start with the first room required. Enter the dates and number of people in the first room. You will be shown different types of rooms and special offers and all of the details. Choose a room by clicking on ‘Book’. Review your choice and click on “Add Another Room” and repeat the process.

Airport Transfers

I am arriving at Ciampino airport and have asked for a transfer to your hotel. Can you tell me how this works and how much this will cost please?

We would be pleased to arrange a private transfer for you from Ciampino airport at an additional cost. Travel time is approximately 35-45 minutes depending on traffic and fees are approximately € . Taxis are also available for about € 35. Make sure you travel with one of Rome’s official white taxis located just outside the exit doors from the airport terminal.

Checking in Early

I will be arriving tomorrow at approximately 10:30 am. Might it be possible to check into my room early? What is the usual check-in time?

Our regular check-in time is 14:00-23:00. However, we offer free secure baggage storage. When you arrive, just ask our staff at Reception. They will be happy to assist you.

Close to Public Transport. Parking.

How far is the Olympic Stadium? Is it easy to reach by public transport? Do you also have parking?

Hotel Amalia is famous for its location, right outside the Vatican. Olympic Stadium is just 2,9 kilometers, a short bus ride away. Public buses are located just 2 minutes from our doors. Our staff at Reception will be pleased to help you with bus numbers and tickets. We can also help you with parking which is available for an additional charge. Just mention your requirements while booking through our Reservation System and our staff will email you with the details.

Vacation Planning

I would like to know the price of a double room with en suite bathroom for 4 nights. My dates are to be determined.

Shuttle Service or Taxi

Is there a shuttle service available from the train station and cost for taxi?

Hotel Amalia does not operate a shuttle service at this time to airports or the train station. However we can arrange transport for you at an additional cost. A taxi from the Termini station will cost around €15-20 and from both airports the cost is about €35. If luggage or physical ability is not an issue, you can also take the Metropolitano.
